Hi. Welcome to our website. The title - and the red dots across the map at the top of the page - we hope say it all. 

Because we’re doing the trip for charity we’ve included information about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Have a look round, please donate if you would like to, and pop back on occasion to see what else has been added.

We plan on posting just as many times as we get the chance to do, but we’re not going to carry our own computers: too much weight, effort and potential hassle.

Across the States we don’t have many contacts, and in parts of Central and South America we’ll be away from things like electricity for quite some time.

You might also notice that we are linked to Flickr, a photo storage website. To have a look at the photos that we have taken, just click on ‘Our Flickr photos’ on the menu, and have a rummage. We’re also linked into a map on Flickr. Click ‘Map’ on our Flickr page and roam around. All the pink dots represent places where photos have been taken. If you want to look at pictures taken from a particular place, click on the pink dot and the pictures will appear. Magic. Sort of.

UPDATE    We set off in early May 2009 and have so far cycled across the States and down the western coast to LA where we flew to Loreto in Baja California, in Mexico.

Having witnessed poverty and squalor almost from the day we arrived in Mexico, we have decided to STOP cycling and try and offer some help. Please read the relevant blog entry - week ending December 27th 2009 - for further details.
